A small and friendly resort Agios Sostis is a delight where you can relax and really feel that you are on holiday. The resort has a pretty location in the Bay of Laganas, the well known nesting area of the Caretta Caretta turtles and just opposite Marathonisi (Turtle Island) named for it's shape as well as the nesting turtles. The resort is just a short walk along the beach from the full on resort of Laganas with its non-stop partying but in reality the resort is a million miles away from its commercialised neighbour.
Agios Sostis has a number of excellent tavernas, many with beach-side verandas – a great al-fresco way to enjoy the sea views day or night. Keep an eye out for atmospheric Greek Nights – local dancing and music at its best. The resort’s beach whilst narrow has all the facilities of a large resort, such as boat hire to Marathonisi, pedaloes, canoes and of course deck chairs and umbrellas for hire.
Agios Sostis is an ideal location for those who want a quiet and laid-back resort experience, but with the option of the buzzing nightlife of Laganas a short taxi ride away. Please be warned if you are looking for a holiday in Laganas then Agios Sostis will not be to your taste and you are well advised to look within Laganas itself for your accommodation.
